Before the annual HBS PLD Global Summit, enjoy a special 5-days expedition to Lisbon, curated just for you and 7 other PLDers. This experience has been limited to 8 people to unlock the best of the group and the experience.

Day 1 - Saturday September 15 - Settle in

Arrive in Lisbon. We recommend you arrive in the morning so you can have time to freshen up and enjoy dinner. 

Check into one of out two shared apartments. You will be sharing with 3 other PLDers in each apartment. 

We'll visit 11th-century Castelo Sao Jorge, a moorish castle, and toast with sunset drinks with panoramic views of Lisbon. 

Dinner will be at a local restaurant within walking distance.


Day 2 - Sunday September 16 - Discover Lisbon off-the-beaten path

9am: Departure for Sidecar tour, a great way to explore the city of 7 hills in fun way with expert guides. Each sidecar will be driven by a local guide and have 2 passengers, one in the back , and one in the sidecar.  We will pack a light lunch with us.

2pm: The tour brings us to Belem, where we take a break to taste freshly baked pastel de Belem. After the break will visit the magnificient Jerinomo Monastery.

4pm: Back at the apartment for a rest or free time to explore the quaint neighboorhood around.

7pm: Dinner at breathtaking panoramic upscale restaurant, showcasing views all the way to the river and bridges.


Day 3 - Monday September 17 - Explore the coast Line 

Morning departure by train or car for Cascais. From there, will explore the beautiful coastline and countryside of Portugal by bike. Depending on the fitness level of the group we can separate in 2 groups or stay as 1. 

After lunch, we will head back to the city for rest / free time.

5pm: Head to the nearby marina and toast to the sunset with a special river cruise with local wine and delicacies.

7pm: Visit of the Lisbon Art Center and Studios, an innovative co-working and creative space opened by a fellow PLDer. We will have dinner on the rooftops of LACS

 


Day 4 - Tuesday September 18 - experience Tradition and Modernity

10am-3pm: Boarding our own private mini-van to visit of the Setubal countryside region, 1 hour away from Lisbon. We will visit 3 local wineries to, stop for lunch and visit an authentic tile factory that uses the same methods as 200 hundred years ago.

Back in Lisbon in the afternoon to enjoy some free time

At 6pm, we will head out to a local farmers market for a very special food experience. We will be shopping for fresh ingredients under the helm of a private chef. Back at the culinary studio, we will learn about Portuguese culinary traditions, try our hands at some recipes and taste our creations during a family style dinner. All the while with wine flowing...


Day 5 - Wednesday September 19 - Enjoy !!!

In the morning, visit of the famous National Tile Museum, hosted in a 14th-century convent. 

Savor a last lunch by the river to soak in the views.

Take some time for last minute stroll in the city or shopping.

Checkout and fly to Munich for the PLD Global Summit

 
 

Trip cost from €875 (shared double bed) to €975 (single bed in shared room for two people).
Price is indicative and may change slightly but will be communicated before confirmation (most likely will go down). 
Includes accomodation in shared apartments, local transportation, activites, dinner and lunches.
Excludes transportation to arrive and leave Lisbon on first and last day, breakfasts.
